Description This is a hand-carved, one-of-a-kind necklace. Cut from the pit, or stone, of an avocado, this pendant features a white tumbled river stone at its center. It’s the perfect necklace for those who want to feel closer to nature or who have an earthy, natural style. I cut this avocado pit myself, primarily with a hobby knife. I then mounted a river stone in the center. To better protect the wood from warping and cracking, I polished it with beeswax and orange oil. The necklace cord consists of durable, lightly waxed cotton cord. I tied two slip knots, so you can adjust the necklace to suit your needs. Extended, it measures 15.5 inches in length (about 31 inches total). Tightened, it measures 7.5 inches (about 15 inches total). To protect your necklace, I ship it in a soft velvet jewelry bag tucked inside a padded envelope. It is also available to purchase on Etsy.
