Hand-Carved Avocado Stone Necklace With Tribal Pattern

Description This is a hand-carved, one-of-a-kind necklace. Cut from the pit, or stone, of an avocado, this pendant features a unique design that you won’t find on any other pendant. It’s the perfect necklace for those who want to feel closer to nature or who have an earthy, natural style. I cut this avocado pit myself, primarily with a hobby knife. To better protect the wood from warping and cracking, I polished it with beeswax and orange oil. The necklace cord consists of durable, lightly waxed cotton cord. I tied two slip knots, so you can adjust the necklace to suit your needs. Extended, it measures 15 inches in length (about 30 inches total). Tightened, it measures about 7 inches (about 15 inches total). As a result, it should sit almost like a choker when tightened, or sit well past the collarbone when extended. To protect your necklace, I ship it in a soft velvet jewelry bag tucked inside a padded envelope. It is also available to purchase on Etsy.
