Description This is a hand-carved, one-of-a-kind necklace. Cut from the pit, or stone, this pendant features a simple flower as well as a wooden bead as an accent. It’s the perfect necklace for those who want to feel closer to nature or who have an earthy, natural style. I cut this avocado pit myself, primarily with a hobby knife. I then fit it with a wooden bead. To better protect the wood from warping and cracking, I polished it with beeswax and orange oil. The necklace cord consists of durable, lightly waxed cotton cord. I tied two slip knots, so you can adjust the necklace to suit your needs. Extended, it measures 16.5 inches in length (about 33 inches total). Tightened, it measures 8 inches (about 16 inches total). To protect your necklace, I ship it in a soft velvet jewelry bag tucked inside a padded envelope. It is also available to purchase on Etsy.
